Extensive tenement package covering 4,363km2 in a world class mining jurisdiction
Extending approximately 500km from north to south, the Aeon northwest tenement package is divided into four main project areas: Constance Range, Isa North, Isa West and Isa South. This includes contiguous land holding (~170km) along the Mt Isa Fault, bordering north and south of Glencore’s Mount Isa Mines. The prospectivity of these tenements was highlighted when an extensive IOCG system was identified in the Isa West project area in 2020.

Isa West
Isa West holds promising Tier 1, IOCG targets that were demonstrated during drilling at Beauchamps in 2020. With significant fault architecture and geophysical anomalies, the Isa West IOCG systems remain to be further explored.

CONSTANCE RANGE
The Constance Range tenement group consists of 3 EPMs covering 132 sub-blocks. These are EPM 14712 (Musselbrook, Babbling Brooke), EPM 14935 (Riversleigh) and EPM 27535 (Gregory Limestone). The EPMs were acquired to explore primarily for structurally controlled and/or stratabound base-metal mineralisation in close proximity to the Termite Range Fault and Century Mine. Previous exploration by Aston focused on the Musselbrook Cu-Au Prospect; a series of offset northeast trending Cu-Au shear zones hosted within the Carpentarian siltstones and sandstones of the McNamara Group.Â
EPM 27535 was acquired in 2020 as a potential limestone source for the Walford Creek Project.

ISA NORTH
The project area originally consisted of a number of tenements held in JV with Summit Resources which explored for uranium. All tenements have now been relinquished with the exception of Hero (MDL 513) and the non-contiguous Mt Kelly South (EPM 14694).

The Hero copper deposit is located on MDL 513, approximately 40kms north of Mt. Isa.
The deposit outcrops and is represented by mineralised gossans which were discovered by Rio Tinto in 2015. Mineralisation occurs within brecciated conglomerates of the Mt. Isa Group adjacent to the Hero Fault. Alteration is predominantly biotite-magnetite and may be described as an Iron oxide-copper-gold analogue.

Mt Kelly South (EPM 14694) is located 6 kms south of Lady Annie Copper operations and is held by Aeon Walford Creek Ltd (80%) and Summit Resources (20%).
The style of mineralisation targeted is Middle Proterozoic age, structurally controlled base metal and gold mineralisation hosted within the McNamara Group sediments proximal to the north-northwest trending McNamara Fault.
Historical exploration mainly using prospecting and rock chip and soil geochemistry methods has identified at least two areas of anomalous geochemistry with a copper anomaly identified in the southern grid area.

ISA WEST
The Isa West licence package consists of 6 granted EPMs located approximately 30kms to the west of Mt. Isa. Limited exploration has been carried out in the district and Aeon applied for the tenements following a conceptual study and has first mover advantage.
The Beauchamps, Bagshot, Boxhole and Coolibah targets are considered prospective for IOCG deposits, and the Sugarbag North and South targets are considered prospective for sediment hosted copper mineralisation.

ISA SOUTH
The Isa South licence package is located between 30kms and 100kms south of Mt Isa. The project consists of 9 separate EPMs, covering 162 sub-blocks. All EPMs have been granted, are current and are solely held by Aeon.
The projects are distributed along the southern extensions to the Mt Isa fault system. There is extensive base metals geochemical anomalism and minor mineralisation adjacent to the Isa Fault and secondary splays. The majority of the area lies under relatively shallow surficial cover and there is significant potential for the discovery of blind mineralisation.
A significant amount of historical exploration has been completed including numerous airborne surveys, including extensive magnetics and gravity surveys, and also VTEM surveys.
